Lady Gaga wasn't living for the applause on Sunday night when she performed at the Inaugural YouTube Awards.
The Mother Monster started her performance of a new song called "Dope," seated at the piano with tears streaming down her face.
"Dope" will be featured on Gaga's upcoming ARTPOP album. She shared the cover art for the song last week, which has her smiling wide with a pair of fake skull teeth.
'Dope' will be available 12:01am local time Nov 4th. Final song available for purchase before ARTPOP release Nov 11. pic.twitter.com/iTCHRy5HeA— Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) October 31, 2013
The star recreated the look for YouTube award's red carpet. Her performance was part of the show's "live music videos," filmed and directed on the spot by Spike Jonze.
