Miley Cyrus has revealed the official release date for her upcoming album Bangerz.
On Thursday, she announced on Twitter that the album will drop on October 8th. The announcement followed Miley's online campaign rallying her 13 million followers to send in their votes for this month's MTV Video Music Awards.
Bangerz is her much-anticipated follow-up to 2010's Can't Be Tamed. It's being led by the single "We Can't Stop," which is currently sitting at the runner-up spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
Miley has let fans know about a number of collaborations on the new album, including Ludacris, Big Sean, Future and Pharrell Williams. She recently teased however that fans would have to wait until the release to find out who her "favorite" and the "biggest" name featured on her album is.
